Hi, I'm Lucia Marecak, a professional food and product photographer and videographer based in Turin, Italy, working with clients worldwide. Founder of FOODlight.io & photography educator.
As a food photographer, I work with food brands, restaurants, and businesses to create high-quality visuals that bring their products to life, whether on location or from my studio. Before starting my food photography business, I worked for 8 years in Human Resources as a Talent Acquisition Manager. I’ve experienced both fast-moving start-ups and structured multinational companies. I understand how teams are built, how internal processes work, and how decisions are made. This helps me support you in a way that fits your structure, your goals, and the way your business really works.
I built my own brand FOODlight.io from scratch

how a project works
Each project is tailored to the specific needs of your brand—here’s a simple overview of how we’ll work together:
Initial inquiry & project definition
We start with a discovery call or email exchange to understand your goals, products, style preferences, and usage needs. I’ll ask a few key questions to define the creative direction and give you a custom estimate based on your project.
Creative direction
Once confirmed, I’ll plan the creative direction of the project: from mood board and prop selection to lighting style and set design. We’ll align on the timeline, creative details, and any logistics (like recipes, models, or food styling support).
Production & post-production
I’ll take care of the full shoot—photography, videography, or both. After that, I’ll carefully edit the best images and videos, always keeping in mind your brand and content needs.
Delivery
You’ll receive the final files in high-resolution and web formats, ready to use across your channels (e.g., website, social media, or print).
